Here's Peacock’s 2024 Halloween slate, which includes more than 150 new horror titles

Halloween might not be here just yet, but we've already begun preparing. I mean, we're only a couple of months away, so what better time than now to start? It doesn't look like we're the only ones getting ready, either.

Peacock has just released its full 2024 Halloween slate, which is made up of more than 150 new horror titles that will be headed to the streaming platform starting Sept. 1. We're talking horror classics to fairly new horror movies and shows. Peacock will also be releasing two new horror series this spooky season that you'll definitely want to check out.

Dawn of the Dead (2004)

Peacock release date: Sept. 1, 2024

Set during a zombie apocalypse, we follow a group of people in a shopping mall as they band together to try to survive against hordes of zombies that lurk right outside the doors. Sarah Polley, Ving Rhames, Jake Weber, Mekhi Phifer, and many others star in this zombie film.

The Forever Purge (2021)

Peacock release date: Sept. 1, 2024

Serving as the fifth movie in the Purge franchise, The Forever Purge centers around a group of survivors in Texas who find themselves in a fight for survival when they are attacked by a radical nationalist Purger group who intend on keeping the crime and murder going even though the annual Purge night is over.

The cast is made up of Ana de la Reguera, Tenoch Huerta, Cassidy Freeman, Leven Rambin, Josh Lucas, Will Patton, and others.

Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013)

Peacock release date: Sept. 1, 2024

Insidious: Chapter 2 picks up after the events of the first film, and we continue to follow the Lambert family. After rescuing his son Dalton from the dark dimension known as "The Further," Josh comes back a changed person. He begins to exhibit disturbing behavior, leading his wife Renai to suspect that he's been possessed by an evil entity. To save him from the malevolent spirit, the Lamberts enlists the help of demonologist Elise Rainier and her team. Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins, Barbara Hershey, and many others make up the cast.

Mama (2013)

Peacock release date: Sept. 1, 2024

Mama is a supernatural horror movie that follows two young sisters, Victoria and Lily, who had been missing for five years before being found in an isolated cabin in the woods. For all those years, they were cared for by a mysterious entity known as "Mama." After being rescued, they are taken in by their uncle Lucas and his girlfriend Annabel, who try to give them a new life of normalcy. But things take a left turn when "Mama" is revealed to be a vengeful ghost who has followed Victoria and Lily to their new home.

The cast comprises Jessica Chastain, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Megan Charpentier, Isabelle Nélisse, Daniel Kash, and others.

The Thing (1982)

Peacock release date: Sept. 1, 2024

The Thing revolves around a group of American scientists in Antartica who find themselves fighting for their lives when a shape-shifting alien creature with the ability to take over other bodies begins hunting them down. They must quickly find a way to put a stop to this alien life-form before it completely wipes out humanity. Kurt Russell, A. Wilford Brimley, T. K. Carter, David Clennon, Keith David, Richard Dysart, and many others star in this sci-fi horror flick.

Drag Me to Hell (2009)

When loan officer Christine Brown denies an elderly woman an extension on her mortgage, the elderly woman places a powerful supernatural curse on her in retaliation. The curse involves an evil spirit that will continue to torment Christine before she's then dragged to hell three days later. In an effort to break the curse and save her soul, Christine seeks out ways to rid herself of it before it's too late. Alison Lohman, Justin Long, Lorna Raver, Dileep Rao, David Paymer, Adriana Barraza, and others are in the cast.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)

Peacock release date: Oct. 1, 2024

After accidentally running over a fisherman and then dumping his body in the ocean, a group of four friends vows never to bring up the incident again. That's until a year later when a mysterious killer with a hook for a hand begins hunting them down. Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Freddie Prinze Jr., Johnny Galecki, and Bridgette Wilson all star in this slasher.

The Mouse Trap (2024)

Peacock release date: Oct. 1, 2024

The Mouse Trap finally makes its Peacock debut this October. It's a horror-comedy following a group of friends at an amusement park arcade who find themselves trying to survive the night when a masked killer dressed in a Mickey Mouse costume begins terrorizing them. Sophie McIntosh, Callum Sywyk, Allegra Nocita, Ben Harris, Mireille Gagné, Mackenzie Mills, and others make up the cast.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 (2024)

Peacock release date: Oct. 1, 2024

Another horror retelling to be on the lookout for this October on Peacock is Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. It's a sequel to the slasher Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey and sees the anthropomorphic feral murderer Winnie-the-Pooh head to Christopher Robin's childhood town of Ashdown to continue his killing spree. Scott Chambers, Tallulah Evans, Ryan Oliva, Teresa Banham, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney, Alec Newman, and Simon Callow are in the slasher's cast.

Teacup is a Peacock horror original series. The story takes place in rural Georgia and follows a group of people from different walks of life who must band together to survive against a mysterious threat. The talented cast includes Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre, and Luciano Leroux.

Hysteria! (2024)

Peacock release date: Oct. 18, 2024

Hysteria! is another new Peacock original series coming out in October. Set in the '80s, the series follows a group of high school outcasts in a heavy metal band who decide to capitalize on their town's newfound interest in occult activity by labeling themselves as a Satanic metal band. However, their plan goes awry when a series of murders, kidnappings, and supernatural activity begins to plague their town, triggering a witch hunt that points back to them.

Julie Bowen, Anna Camp, Emjay Anthony, Chiara Aurelia, Kezii Curtis, and Nikki Hahn make up the main cast.
