Drag Me to Hell, Fear, and 4 more horror films coming to Paramount+ in July 2024

Time is seriously flying by! We're only a day away from entering a new month, and we're looking forward to all the new releases on Paramount+ in July. More specifically, all the horror content. The streaming giant has unveiled its complete list of movies and shows coming to the platform next month, and we spotted six horror movies on the list. We shared the titles of those films and their Paramount+ release dates below!

Drag Me to Hell (2009)

Paramount+ release date: July 1, 2024

Drag Me to Hell is a supernatural horror film helmed and co-written by Sam Raimi. It centers around a loan officer at a bank who is vying for a promotion. To better her chances of being promoted, the loan officer demonstrates tough decision-making by denying an elderly woman’s request for a loan extension. But in retaliation, the elderly woman places a curse on her where, after three days, she'll be dragged to hell by a powerful demon called the Lamia. Alison Lohman, Justin Long, Lorna Raver, Dileep Rao, David Paymer, and Adriana Barraza star in this horror flick. The official trailer is above.

Fear (1996)

Paramount+ release date: July 1, 2024

Fear stars Academy Award-winning actress Reese Witherspoon as a 16-year-old girl who becomes romantically involved with whom she thought was the perfect guy until he starts to show dark and violent tendencies. Witherspoon plays the role of Nicole Walker, while Mark Wahlberg takes on the role of David McCall, the seemingly charming and handsome young man who sweeps Nicole off her feet. William Petersen, Alyssa Milano, Amy Brenneman, and many others also star in this movie.

Identity (2003)

Paramount+ release date: July 1, 2024

Identity follows ten strangers who find themselves stranded at a remote desert motel during a nasty rain storm. But as they get to know each other, they soon discover that someone is killing them off one by one. The cast is made up of John Cusack, Ray Liotta, Amanda Peet, Alfred Molina, Clea DuVall, Rebecca De Mornay, John Hawkes, John C. McGinley, William Lee Scott, Jake Busey, and Pruitt Taylor Vince.

Hannibal Rising (2007)

Paramount+ release date: July 27, 2024

Hannibal Rising serves as the fifth film in the Hannibal Lecter franchise. It explores the early life of the cannibalistic serial killer as he embarks on a quest for revenge against the men who tormented him and his sister. Gaspard Ulliel stars in the leading role of Hannibal Lecter. Joining him in the cast are Gong Li, Rhys Ifans, Dominic West, and many others.
