Interview with the Vampire, Mayfair Witches, and more AMC horror shows to stream on Netflix this August

We have good news to report, horror fans! In a surprise move, Netflix has struck a deal with AMC that will see 13 AMC shows come to the streaming platform on Aug.19, 2024. Out of these 13 series, six are of the horror genre. The licensing deal will last a year, meaning these shows will be available to stream on Netflix for an entire year before departing. Below, we shared every AMC show set to come to Netflix soon.

Interview with the Vampire season 1

Interview with the Vampire is based on Anne Rice's 1976 novel of the same name as well as her Vampire Chronicles book series. It centers around the centuries-old vampire, Louis de Pointe du Lac, as he recounts his life story to a renowned journalist named Daniel Molloy. Jacob Anderson, Sam Reid
Eric Bogosian, Bailey Bass, Assad Zaman, and many others star in this horror series.

Mayfair Witches season 1

Mayfair Witches is based on Anne Rice's trilogy Lives of the Mayfair Witches and revolves around a brilliant neurosurgeon who discovers she's a heiress to a powerful family of witches entangled with an ancient and malevolent entity. The cast is made up of Alexandra Daddario, Tongayi Chirisa, Jack Huston, Harry Hamlin, and others.

Fear the Walking Dead seasons 1-8

Fear the Walking Dead is a spin-off of The Walking Dead. It's a post-apocalyptic horror drama series focusing on the early days of the zombie apocalypse, where we follow a group of characters trying their best to survive. Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Mercedes Mason, Lorenzo James Henrie, Rubén Blades, Colman Domingo, and many others star in this horror show.

Preacher seasons 1-4

Preacher follows a former criminal turned preacher with an extraordinary power who enlists the help of his ex-girlfriend and an Irish vampire to embark on a quest to find God. The cast comprises Dominic Cooper, Joseph Gilgun, Ruth Negga, Lucy Griffiths, W. Earl Brown, Derek Wilson, and many others.

Here are two more AMC horror shows coming to Netflix on Aug. 19:

• The Terror season 1
• The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 1

AMC shows such as A Discovery of Witches (seasons 1-3), Dark Winds (seasons 1-2), Gangs of London (seasons 1-2), Into the Badlands (seasons 1-3), Kevin can F*** Himself (seasons 1-2), Monsieur Spade (season 1) and That Dirty Black Bag (season 1) will also be released on Netflix on Aug. 19.

Two additional AMC shows, The Walking Dead: Dead City (season 1) and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live (season 1), are slated to land on Netflix on Jan. 13, 2025.
