It's What's Inside trailer: Body swapping causes a friend reunion to take a dark turn
Spooky season is approaching fast, and Netflix has just released the official trailer for one of its horror movies set to be released just in time for Halloween. We're talking about the upcoming horror-comedy flick It's What's Inside. You can check out the trippy official trailer above.
In the 2-minute and 34-second trailer, we watch a group of old college friends who decide to get together for a pre-wedding party. During the party, one of them suggests that they play a game with a mysterious machine. But as soon as each person hooks themselves up to the machine, and it turns on, this is when things take a dark turn.
The machine turns out to be a body-swapping machine, and the friend group starts switching bodies with each other. It all seems fun at first until their mental states begin to unravel, secrets, desires, and grudges are revealed, and the night descends into an "existential nightmare."
The slasher was written and helmed by Greg Jardin. Brittany O'Grady (Black Christmas, The White Lotus), James Morosini (The Sex Lives of College Girls), Alycia Debnam-Carey (Fear the Walking Dead, The 100), Devon Terrell (Rap Sh!t, Barry), Gavin Leatherwood (The Sex Lives of College Girls, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Reina Hardesty (Brockmire, StartUp), Nina Bloomgarden (The Resort, Jane), David W. Thompson (Fear Street Part One: 1994), and Madison Davenport (From Dusk till Dawn: The Series) make up the cast.
