American actor and filmmaker James Morosini, who is known for writing, directing, and starring in the comedy film I Love My Dad, has found his next project. It's a psychological horror flick titled Mommy's Home, which he'll be teaming up with Lionsgate to make. More on this upcoming movie below.

Morosini wrote the script for Mommy's Home and is signed on to direct. Besides I Love My Dad, Morosini is best known for his previous acting roles in the TV shows Loosely Exactly Nicole, Foursome and The Sex Lives of College Girls. His most recent acting gig was playing the role of Cyrus in the comedy horror It's What's Inside. This film will eventually be released on Netflix. In terms of his directing and writing work, Morosini wrote and directed the comedy movie Threesomething, as well as some short films.

Craig Flores, Dawn Olmstead, and Anonymous Content are listed as producers of Mommy's Home, with David Levine, Garrett Kemble, and Ryan Schwartz as executive producers. In addition, Scott O’Brien and Jon Humphrey are overseeing the movie for Lionsgate.

The movie's plot revolves around a young dad whose family life turns upside down when his 24-year-old mom is unfrozen many years after being cryogenically preserved. I don't know about you, but this plot has definitely captured my interest, making me want to know more about the movie.
