How would you react if you were thrust into a real-life horror movie complete with possessions, monsters, and other terrifying ghouls? That's what reality series Scare Tactics aims to discover as unsuspecting victims are tossed into situations worthy of any scary movie, with the bonus of all their reactions getting caught on hidden camera.

The previously-announced Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions reboot of Scare Tactics officially has a premiere date and it will begin streaming in early October on USA Network.

This updated version of the show features different pranksters in each episode setting up their loved ones as a target. And it's not just average folks who get pranked either, at least one episode features WWE superstars "The New Day" getting the paranormal scare of a lifetime during what they think is a normal promo opportunity with Cody Rhodes.

As a hidden-camera prank show, Scare Tactics effortlessly mixes horror and comedy. Pranks this season include a casual dinner party with a cannibalistic centerpiece, a seance gone wrong, and more.

Hosted by Flip, "a spectral pre-teen obsessed with horror movies and fascinated by human fear," Scare Tactics gives him the opportunity to create "horrific cinematic scenarios" and "drop real people into the leading roles."

In addition to the ones mentioned above, it looks like someone will be terrorized by a demonic "baby," the chaotic seance, and plenty of people getting chased by monsters. In short, the new Scare Tactics looks like a welcome throwback to the old show and a great addition to this year's already stacked Halloween lineup.
