Academy Award-nominated actress Keira Knightley will be making her Netflix debut with the upcoming British spy thriller series Black Doves. But it looks like her partnership with Netflix won't be ending there. We've just learned that she will be starring in an upcoming Netflix film adaptation of Ruth Ware’s bestselling novel, The Woman in Cabin 10. More details about this movie are below.

The Woman in Cabin 10 is set to be directed by Simon Stone, who is best known for helming the movies The Daughter and The Dig. He, along with Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse, wrote the film's screenplay. Shrapnel and Waterhouse previously worked together on the superhero movie Snake Eyes. They had co-wrote the script for the film with Evan Spiliotopoulos.

The Woman in Cabin 10 is being described as a thriller flick, which makes sense since the book it's based on is a mystery-thriller. Knightley stars as a travel journalist who is given the travel assignment of covering the launch of a luxury cruise ship. But what should've been an easy job assignment turns into something else entirely when she witnesses a passenger being tossed overboard late one night. With no one believing her story since all passengers have remained accounted for, the journalist continues to search for answers on her own, ultimately putting her own life in danger.

Sister, the production company behind TV shows such as Passenger, The Baby and Netflix's Eric, will produce the film with Debra Hayward. In addition, Ilda Diffley is signed on as an executive producer.

Sadly, that's all we know about the thriller film since that's all that's been revealed so far. It's unknown when production will start, but we're hoping by the end of this year. As the movie moves further into the filmmaking process, new information, like more casting details, should be announced.
