Lisa Frankenstein and 8 other horror movies coming to Amazon Prime Video in July 2024

Goodbye June, and hello July! Amazon has released its complete list of all the new shows and movies coming to Prime Video next month, and after looking it over, we noticed that many horror movies were included—some that we can't wait to check out. Below, we shared a list of all the horror titles slated to be released on Prime Video throughout July.

The Wolfman (2010)

Prime Video release date: July 1, 2024

The Wolfman stars Benicio del Toro as an American actor named Lawrence Talbot, who after hearing of his brother's gruesome death, returns to his family estate in Blackmoor, England. But soon after his arrival, he is bitten and subsequently infected by a werewolf. As Lawrence struggles with this werewolf curse and his growing inability to control his transformations, his brother's grieving fiancée tries to find a way to save him. Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, Hugo Weaving, and many others join del Toro in the cast.

The Silence of the Lambs (1991)

Prime video release date: July 1, 2024

The Silence of the Lambs is a psychological horror film centering around a young FBI trainee who enlists the help of an imprisoned cannibalistic serial killer to help catch another serial killer at large, a deranged murderer who skins his female victims. Jodie Foster stars in the leading role of Clarice Starling, a young FBI trainee, while Anthony Hopkins plays the role of the incarcerated cannibalistic serial killer, Hannibal Lecter. In addition, Ted Levine portrays Buffalo Bill, the serial killer Clarice is trying to hunt down.

Evil Dead Rise (2023)

Serving as the fifth installment in the Evil Dead film series, Evil Dead Rise follows two estranged sisters who are thrust into a primal battle for survival along with the rest of their family when flesh-possessing demons called deadites invade the Los Angeles apartment complex they reside in. The cast is made up of Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols, Nell Fisher, and others.

Lisa Frankenstein (2024)

Prime Video release date: July 30, 2024

Lisa Frankenstein centers around a troubled teen goth girl who sets out on a murderous journey with her undead lover to find body parts to put him back together. Abigail's Kathryn Newton stars as the goth girl, Lisa Swallows, while Riverdale's Cole Sprouse portrays the role of The Creature, Lisa's undead lover.

Although not a horror movie, we believe some horror buffs might enjoy Tyler Perry's Divorce in the Black, an upcoming thriller film set for a July 11 release on Prime Video.

"Divorce In The Black tells the story of Ava, a young bank professional who is devastated when her husband Dallas abandons a marriage she is determined to fight for. However, fate intervenes, revealing Dallas’ wicked deeds that have trashed their marriage, and once upon a time sabotaged Ava’s destiny to be loved by her true soulmate. "

Meagan Good, Cory Hardrict, Joseph Lee Anderson, Taylor Polidore, Shannon Wallace, Richard Lawson, and Debbi Morgan all star in this thriller.
