More twisted tales of bad roommates are coming soon to Netflix with the true crime docuseries Worst Roommate Ever returning on June 26, confirms Deadline.

Released on March 1, 2022, the first season of the five-episode miniseries featured four cases (one was split into a two-part episode) of terrible roommates. And these people went way beyond simply not doing the dishes or playing music too loud.

Here's a sneak peek at the upcoming second season:

From director Domini Hofmann, Worst Roommate Ever featured stories about criminals and killers, like convicted serial killer Dorothea Puente. Another story focused on someone who lived with the Danish con man Youssef Khater, who was also convicted of attempted murder.

The series is from Blumhouse Television, the company behind other true crime docs like Floribama Murders, Florida Man Murders, and Smiley Face Killers: The Hunt For Justice. Blumhouse Television also brought us scripted horror shows such as The Horror of Dolores Roach, Into the Dark, The Purge, and The Thing About Pam.

"After seeing the response and incredible success of the first season of Worst Roommate Ever, which reached the Top 10 list in over 60 countries, we are proud to bring a new season of unbelievable stories and cautionary tales to a global audience."

Gretchen Palek, Blumhouse Television

Using a combination of real testimony from victims of these awful roommates, pictures, and other archival footage, Worst Roommate Ever quickly dominated the Netflix charts and became one of the most streamed docuseries of 2022, even beating out Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes and Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey.

What's On Netflix reports that Netflix will release the second season June 26, 2024. But Netflix hasn't confirmed anything just yet. Season 2 will likely follow the same format as the first and be around the same episode length, but keep checking back here as we'll be sure to report when we get an official announcement and trailer.
