Mark Duplass is back as Peachfuzz for the upcoming Creep spinoff series The Creep Tapes, premiering this fall on Shudder.

Shudder and executive producers Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice also revealed the show's premiere date, Friday, November 15. Beginning on that date, Shudder and AMC+ subscribers can watch the first two episodes of the six-episode series. After the double premiere drop, new episodes will be released weekly on both platforms.

Per the press release, The Creep Tapes will continue following a similar format to the two films, Creep and Creep 2. In each one, Peachfuzz lures a videographer to his home under the guise of documenting a day in his life, but as the film progresses, it becomes apparent that he has a far more sinister agenda in mind.

The Shudder series will continue "to unravel the mind of a secluded serial killer" with a penchant for posting sketchy listings in online forums to prey on unsuspecting filmmakers looking for their next paid gig.

While the movies are great, they don't reveal much about Peachfuzz himself or his motives. That's part of what makes him such a creepy character, so I hope the show doesn't do too much to change up the format. Still, it would be fun to learn a little more about how his mind works. I trust Duplass and Brice to come up with something fittingly creative.

Regarding the new series, Duplass remarks on Creep's humble origins and the found-footage horror movie that became "so wildly strange and uncomfortable," to the point they thought it would never see the light of day. Now, over a decade later, they have the chance to continue their legacy in a new and exciting format.

" To be continuing this unholy legacy in the series format is a true nightmare come true. "
