Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor in talks to star in new shark attack movie from Violent Night director
Sadly, fans will not be seeing Phoebe Dynevor in the highly anticipated Bridgerton season 3, but the good news is that we've just learned that she's in negotiations to star in an upcoming shark attack horror movie from Violent Night director Tommy Wirkola. More on this below.
Dynevor is best known for her breakout role as Daphne Bridgerton in the hit Netflix period drama, Bridgerton. Since then, she has gone on to star in several movies like the biographical drama film The Colour Room, the comedy-drama Bank of Dave, and the erotic thriller Fair Play. We'll see her next in a spy thriller flick titled The Inheritance, a short film called More Flames, and a thriller movie titled Anniversary. Now that she's in talks to star in a new shark thriller, we could possibly be seeing her in another movie as well.
Unfortunately, the shark attack film is untitled at the moment. However, what is known is that Sony Pictures is behind it with Adam McKay and Kevin Messick producing the movie through their film production company, Hyperobject Industries, and Tommy Wirkola directing. A writer has not signed on yet, and plot details are being kept under wraps. However, principal photography is slated to start in Australia this summer.
With the summer quickly approaching, we'll likely get confirmation soon on if Dynevor has signed on to star in the film. Her casting will have to be locked down before production can get started. Also, we'll likely hear of more cast additions soon. Of course, you can count on us to share the names of every new actor that joins the cast.
But for now, this is all we know about the upcoming shark attack movie. As more information comes out about the film, we'll be sure to come back and update you with what we found. So, stay tuned to 1428 Elm!
