If you were left wanting more after part one of Chucky’s third season, Syfy and USA have some great news for you: The second half of the season will begin airing in April!

Based on the popular Child’s Play franchise of horror films, Chucky has been a hit for Syfy and USA, and a real treat for fans. All of the Child’s Play films (there are seven, not counting the 2019 remake) were written by Don Mancini, and he is also responsible for the series.

Brad Dourif, who voiced the killer doll in all of the films, also voices Chucky in the series, and many actors who starred in the films have lent their talents to the tv show as well. We are talking about actors such as Jennifer Tilly (Tiffany Valentine), Fiona Dourif (Nica), Alex Vincent (Andy) and Christine Elise (Kyle) among others.

The consistency of the cast and creators has definitely worked in Chucky’s favor, and the fans’ loyalty reflects that. It keeps to the spirit of the original films, providing a great balance of bloody violence and comedy.

Nearly six months after the mid-season finale aired, Chucky will return on April 10 at 10:00 pm.

In the first half of season three, Chucky showed up as “Joseph”, a doll belonging to the President of the United States’ son Henry. He started in with the shenanigans in the very first episode, killing one of the security guards and taunting Jake, Lexy and James via texts and phone calls.

The murders only continue on from that point, as Chucky uses his particular set of skills to kill people in novel ways – slitting throats, suffocating one victim with the American flag and even utilizing a chandelier to commit murders.

It all culminated in a disastrous Halloween party at the White House and with Tiffany receiving some voodoo dolls in jail. She used them to kill her enemy and to hypnotize one of the prison guards. And that’s where we were left hanging on October 25.

Tune in to Syfy and USA on April 10 to find out what happens next!
