Art the Clown is back and a little earlier than was previously announced! Instead of the end of October, Terrifier 3 has been moved up and will now come to theaters on October 11, 2024, according to Variety.

Damien Leone previously announced that the filming of Terrifier 3 officially wrapped. A full trailer for the movie has not yet been released but will be soon to follow.

But we the first official photo from the film has been shared!

Leone says that Terrifier 3 picks up exactly where 2 left off in the Psychiatric Hospital. The plot of Terrifier 3 is still shrouded in some mystery but we know that Art the Clown is still terrorizing the people of Miles County, including some reoccurring characters from the first two movies.

What sets Terrifier 3 apart from the previous is that the mayhem and bloodshed happens on Christmas. The teaser trailer revealed Art dressed up as Santa Claus and how he will most likely be sneaking into people's houses Santa style. The trailer also hints that no one is safe including children, which we've seen from Terrifier 2 with Elliot Fullam's character Jonathan.

The cast includes David Howard Thorton reprising his role as Art the Clown, Lauren LaVera who played Sienna, Elliot Fullam and Samantha Scaffidi as Victoria Heyes. There is no news if Amelie McLain (the little pale girl) will make an appearance as Art's demonic sidekick once again.

The Terrifier franchise grew a cult following after the first movie back in 2016, a spinoff from All Hallow's' Eve from 2013. Terrifier 2 gained an even bigger following in 2022, after the infamous bedroom scene with Casey Hartnett's character Allie. What draws horror fans to Terrifier is the sheer gore of it, Terrifier doesn't shy away from thinking outside the box of basic slasher killings.

I was hooked from the very first movie when Art saws Dawn in half in a very graphic manner. Terrifier tries to outdo itself every time, more gore, more blood, more shock factor. Damien Leone tweeted that one specific scene almost made David Howard Thorton (Art) throw up on set. After this tweet it only made fans more excited and curious about the horror of Terrifier 3.

"This was easily the most challenging film of my career and an emotional rollercoaster to say the least! Luckily I was surrounded by the greatest cast and crew who kept me motivated and enthusiastic throughout. I may be the creator for Terrifier, but it takes an army of passionate artists to make a film and I was fortunate enough to surround myself with some of the most talented individuals in the biz. I'm so proud of everyone involved and I can't wait for you all to see the magic and mayhem we've created. If you thought Terrifier 2 was insane, we've reached a whole new level of horror madness that will most certainly blow you away!"
