Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights: Six original concept houses and Premium Scream Night announced
By Carla Davis
Universal Orlando Resort has made some exciting Halloween Horror Nights announcements over the past week, including six original house themes and a Premium Scream Night.
Everyone’s favorite Halloween attraction will be back in action at the end of August, and will deliver the best scares through the spooky season. This year’s event will run from August 30 through November 3 on select nights.
First up, let’s talk about Halloween Horror Nights' first-ever Premium Scream Night, which will happen on August 29. This is your chance to have the HHN experience before the event officially opens. It features limited capacity, which means shorter wait times, and guests will be the first to brave all ten of the superb haunted houses Universal is known for, as well as five all-new scare zones and live entertainment.
Guests will receive staggered entry, allowing them to experience all of the scares at every corner of the haunted houses. They will also be able to enjoy “all-you-care-to-eat” Halloween-inspired food items and non-alcoholic beverages, an exclusive souvenir lanyard and credential, access to select rides and attractions at Universal Studios Florida, and FREE self-parking.
Tickets for Premium Scream Night are $350 each plus tax (or $325 for passholders), and are limited. They go on sale online June 6, so mark it on your calendar if you plan to attend.
Halloween Horror Nights kicks off August 30, and Universal Orlando Resort announced six of the original concept houses on social media last week. They include:
Slaughter Sinema 2 – “If you’re dying for a b-movie horror marathon, head to the Carey Drive-in. Scream through scenes from creature features, grindhouse gore, spaghetti westerns and more.”
Goblin’s Feast – Pay a visit to the goblin village, where a special feast is planned for all of the orcs, goblins, witches and hobgoblins at the Goblin’s Feast Tavern. But be careful, because YOU are the main course!
Major Sweet’s Candy Factory – What could be better than chaperoning a candy factory field trip? But beware, because these candies turn children into fiendish demons!
The Museum: Deadly Exhibits – There’s a new folklore exhibit at the museum called The Rotting Stone, and you are invited to visit. Don’t worry, the evil imprisoned there can’t escape, right?
Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America – La Muerte will guide you along as you learn about three terrifying legends: La Lechuza, El Silbon and Tlahuelpuchi.
Triplets of Terror – Welcome to the Barmy triplets’ birthday celebration! Just be aware that the three like to party by reliving their family members’ murders.
