The seventh installment in the popular found footage horror film series V/H/S arrives this October and Shudder just shared the first official teaser. Featuring six tapes from horror icons like Justin Long, Kate Siegel, Mike Flanagan, and more, Shudder's V/H/S/Beyond is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated horror movies of the fall.

Plot details are being kept to a minimum but we do know a little about the six stories unfolding in the movie. Siegel and her husband Flanagan collaborated on the "Stowaway" segment with Siegel directing a script penned by Flanagan.

Other segments include "Stork" from Jordan Downey and Kevin Stewart; "Fur Babies" from Christian Long and Justin Long; Ben Turner and Justin Martinez's "Live and Let Dive;" and "Dream Girl" by Virat Pal and Evan Dickson. Canadian filmmaker Jay Cheel also writes and directs a segment called "A Special Presentation."

The video footage shared in the teaser embedded above shows all kinds of crazy stuff happening, including what looks like a SWAT team invading a home, a ritual gone bad, UFOs in the sky, shootouts, a plane crash, and more.

We do know the storyline behind one of the segments, "Live and Let Dive." Director Justin Martinez previously chatted with Collider. Those clips in the teaser showing a plane seem to be from his segment in the story, which follows a group of first-time skydivers who must fight for their lives when their plane has a mid-air collision with a UFO that sends them plummeting toward the ground.

According to the outlet, this specific segment will be "one of the franchise's most ambitious productions yet" as it blends "practical skydiving and gore effects with plane crash and alien visual effects."

After making its debut at Fantastic Fest this September, V/H/S/Beyond will make its way to Shudder beginning on October 4.
