Watch the terrifying trailer for From season 3, premiering this September

Fresh out of the San Diego Comic Con, 1428 Elm has learned some exciting news about the horror television show From airing on MGM+. The third season of the popular puzzle-box mystery show is premiering on September 22, and you can watch the official trailer above.
"Look, we're still in this thing. But we have no idea what we're dealing with," says Harold Perrineau's character Boyd Stevens in the opening moments of the season 3 trailer. As the town's acting sheriff, many look to Boyd for guidance in the aftermath of the season 2 finale.
When we last left off with the Fromville characters, Boyd had helped free Julie, Mari, and Randall, who had been taken prisoner by some kind of strange entity seemingly controlled by a music box. Boyd destroys it, which somehow frees the captives, but there are lots of lingering questions left after the many mysteries and events of the finale.
At another point in the season 3 trailer, Jim (Eion Bailey) says, "Things are getting worse around here, aren't they?" Yeah, it seems like it, especially because the residents of Fromville are now facing a new threat: starvation. The town is running out of food. But maybe death isn't the worst thing that can happen in a cursed place like this one
The trailer also teases what's ahead for Tabitha's journey now that she's outside of Fromville. Tabitha, who is Jim's wife and played by Catalina Sandino Moreno, escaped the town in the season 2 finale after the boy in white pushed her off of the top of the tower. She wakes up in a hospital outside of town and that's the last we see of her.
It looks like she'll be meeting some new characters; clips show her visiting a priest in a confessional and then staying at someone else's house, where he creepily suggests she should check out what's in his basement.
In addition to the trailer and release date, MGM+ also shared some new key art for the season.
