Shudder continues its Season of Screams with November schedule

Shudder is continuing its Season of Screams throughout November, and they have new documentaries and films, plus some classics coming up. That’s something we should all be thankful for, so let’s take a look at what’s being added to the Shudder library.
November 1:
Doc of Chucky (Shudder Original) – Cast and crew members from the Child’s Play franchise, along with critics and experts are all accounted for in this doc, which takes a deep dive into the history of Chucky.
Child’s Play 2 – When Andy’s mom is placed in a psych ward, Andy goes to foster care. But, Chucky is hot on his trail, intent on getting the boy’s soul for himself.
Child’s Play 3 – Andy is now a teen attending military school. When he finds out that Chucky has returned and intends to possess another boy, he sets out to stop the evil doll.
Bride of Chucky – Chucky’s former girlfriend Tiffany Valentine revives him, but he ends up killing her after a fight over marriage. When he resurrects her into the body of a bride doll, the two must work together to be reborn in human form.
Seed of Chucky – When Chucky and Tiffany find out they have a child, Tiffany tries to stop Chucky from murdering people. That doesn’t work, and the couple hatches a plan to inhabit the human bodies of Jennifer Tilly and rapper Redman.
Curse of Chucky – You just can’t keep a murderous carrot-topped doll down! Parapalegic Nica is sent a Good Guys doll, and you can guess what happens next.
Cult of Chucky – It should come as no surprise that Chucky has returned again. This time, he sets out to get revenge on Nica and the rest of his enemies.
Ju-On: The Grudge – When a man kills his wife, their son and their cat, it sets off a chain of events involving their vengeful ghosts.
Ju-On: The Grudge II – The ghosts are still around, and their curse falls on anyone who enters the house they were murdered in.
Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice – When well-meaning people in Hemingford, Nebraska adopt the children from the first movie, it doesn’t go well.
Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest – Two brothers out of Gatlin are placed in foster care in Chicago, but they have some trouble adjusting. They plant some corn to cope with their difficulties. Oops.
Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering – “A nurse returns to her hometown in Nebraska, only to find that the town’s children have fallen under a mysterious mass illness connected to its sinister past."
Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror – Teenagers on a road trip get lost and end up in Divinity Falls, where the children worship He Who Walks Behind the Rows.
Children of the Corn 666: Isaac’s Return – Remember that creepy kid Isaac from the first film? Well, he’s back (and played again by John Franklin).
November 4:
The J-Horror Virus – Shudder's description of this documentary reads: “Charting the origins of Japanese horror films at the turn of the millennium, films featuring vengeful ghosts manifesting themselves through contemporary technology against a backdrop of urban alienation and social decay.”
The Slit Mouthed Woman – The ghost of a disfigured woman is said to kidnap children for reasons no one can figure out.
Tomie – A young woman with amnesia is working with a psychiatrist to bring her memory back. But the ghost of a woman named Tomie keeps popping up.
Shikoku – Hinako returns to the place of her birth and discovers that her childhood friend drowned as a teenager. When another of her old friends starts appearing in her dreams, Hinako asks for help.
Isola – A woman with psychic powers tries to help the survivors of an earthquake. But when she meets a young girl with multiple personalities, she realizes the girl’s 13th personality, known as Isola is dangerous.
Inugami – A young teacher named Akira falls in love with a woman whose family lives under a curse.
St. John’s Wort – In this Japanese film, a game designer and his girlfriend travel to the old mansion she has inherited. He intends to use the place as a background for St. John’s Wort, the new game he is working on.
One Missed Call – A group of friends begin receiving voicemails from their own phone numbers. Soon they realize that the calls foretell their deaths.
One Missed Call 2 – A restaurant owner answers his daughter’s phone and dies soon after. Then the same mysterious events are happening to other people.
One Missed Call 3: Final – A bullied girl attempts suicide, and her friend seeks revenge by sending phone message curses to the bullies.
Ghost Samurai – “In a chilling twist on urban legend, Okamuro-san, an ancient monster, emerges from the shadows for those who dare utter his name online.”
Ninja vs. Shark – When pearl divers refuse to turn their treasures over to an evil cult leader, he uses his powers to cause sharks to attack them. In return, they hire Kotaro Shiozaki (who I guess is a ninja?)
Tokyo Gore Police – In future Japan, a scientist manufactures a virus that turns humans into monstrous “engineers.” Ruka is one of the Engineer Hunters who is set on finding the assassin who murdered her father.
Exte: Hair Extensions – When a young woman’s body is found, it begins to grow hair from everywhere, and a man named Yamazaki becomes obsesses, harvesting the hair and selling it as extensions. But these extensions cause the wearers to die.
Earth vs. The Spider – “A shy obsessive comic book fan gets injected with an experimental serum of a lab that is studying how to give humans the abilities of spiders.”
Tragedy Girls – Two high school girls hosting a true crime blog will do ANYTHING to grow their number of followers…including commit murder.
Wake – A struggling actress desperate for work wants to be cast in a film remake. She tracks down the star of the original movie, and soon finds herself trapped in a nightmare.
Christmas Spirit – “ A family on Christmas Eve is having a Christmas gathering but as the gathering goes on, the bodies start to pile up and as the days go by, things are getting more and more out of touch with reality.”
November 8:
Black Cab (Shudder Original) – After a night out, Anne and Patrick end up in a black cab with a friendly driver. They soon realize that the driver is not heading to their house and has locked the cab so they can’t escape.
November 11:
Nightman – Alex is a young pregnant woman who lives on the edge of a forest with her husband Damian. As she discovers that Damian is sleepwalking, she wonders if he may be the cause of the recent murders in the area.
Porcelain – Elise and her boyfriend are planning to visit Hawaii, but then she is notified that her father has died. When the two arrive at her father’s Philadelphia home, strange things begin to happen. And there are creepy dolls, which is never a good thing.
November 18:
Silence & Darkness – Anna and Beth are blind and deaf sisters living with their father. Unbeknownst to the sisters, their father’s intentions are sinister, and he may have even been responsible for the death of their mother.
November 15:
The Creep Tapes (Shudder Original Series) – From the creators of the cult favorite Creep movies comes this series, which deals with a serial killer. The killer hires videographers under the ruse of documenting his life, but they ultimately become victims instead.
November 22:
Rita (Shudder Original) – 13-year-old Rita is sent to an orphanage, where the girls believe she is an angel sent to save them from the oppressive place.

Out Come the Wolves (Shudder Exclusive)-A group of friends plan a hunting/camping trip at a cabin in the woods, but the trip turns deadly when they are stalked by a pack of vicious wolves.
