Shudder continues its Season of Screams (and its ten-year anniversary) in November, with series and movies galore.
November 1:
Habit –Sam is an alcoholic living in New York City when he meets a woman who turns out to be a succubus, and begins controlling him. Once he figures out what’s going on, he tries to work his way out of it.
Sew Torn (Shudder Exclusive) – When a seamstress who is struggling financially happens upon a drug deal gone wrong, she makes the unwise decision to steal a briefcase from the scene.
The Last Winter – Environmental scientist James has been dispatched to check out an oil drilling operation in the Arctic, and ends up clashing with head of the drilling crew. Add a herd of ghost caribou into the mix, and you have a perfect storm.
Depraved – Henry is an Army medic who suffers with PTSD, and he becomes a modern day Dr. Frankenstein, building a man from body parts. When he brings the creature to life, he discovers he may have bitten off more than he can chew.
Lovely Molly – Newlyweds Molly and Tim move into her old family home, and she begins to act strangely almost immediately. As hurtful family memories start to emerge, Molly becomes more and more distant and begins to record the neighbors.

The Shed – When a hunter is attacked by a vampire, he takes refuge in a shed to hide from the sunlight. Teenager Stan discovers the vamp, telling only his bullied friend Dommer. Things get sticky when Dommer decides to use the vampire to get revenge on his bullies.
The Blair Witch Project – I’ll just say it: The Blair Witch Project is the best found footage movie ever made. Three students go into the woods to film a documentary about the legendary Blair Witch, and disappear. The story is told through their film footage.
Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 – A group of people obsessed with The Blair Witch Project travel to Burkittsville, Maryland to explore the area for themselves. In short, they get more than they bargained for.
The Blair Witch (2016) – Heather’s younger brother James brings his friends to Burkittsville to search for his lost sister. I will just say that I really liked this film a lot, and I appreciated that it modernized the story, while also packing in a lot more action.
There’s Something in the Barn –An American family inherits a cabin in the Norway mountains, and move there. But it turns out that – as the title suggests – something is living in their barn. And it’s dangerous.
Heavy Trip – A heavy metal band writes their own music hoping to get a spot in a festival in Norway. But they run into some problems along the way.
Heavier Trip – In this sequel, the band (called Impaled Rektum) is in jail after the events that happened in the first film. But they decide to escape when a family member becomes ill.
Penance (Series binge) – “The murder of a young girl is never solved. Her mother who is torn by grief puts a curse on the four of the girl’s classmates. These four girls are forced into adulthood which eventually triggers a tragic chain of events.”
The Retreat (2021) – In this Canadian slasher, Renee and Valerie are a couple about to be married. They make the unwise decision to stay at a cabin in the woods, and end up being stalked by serial killers who enjoy preying on gay people.
November 7:
Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers – Linnea Quigley (The Return of the Living Dead) and Gunnar Hansen (The Texas Chain Saw Massacre) star in this film, about a detective who encounters a group of beautiful and dangerous sex workers.
Abraham’s Boys: A Dracula Story (Shudder Film Premiere) – Joe Hill (The Black Phone) wrote the short story this film is based on. It visits Max and Rudy Van Helsing, who are being raised by their very strict father. Since Dad is Abraham Van Helsing, it makes sense that he is so over-protective.
November 11:
Spin the Bottle – A group of teens decide to play Spin the Bottle in an old house with a very dark and bloody history. But playing the game, causing an evil spirit to become unleashed.

November 14:
The Creep Tapes (Season two) – In the second season of the Shudder series, more of Peachfuzz’s tapes are exposed. The guest stars this season will include David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil) and Robert Longstreet (Midnight Mass).
November 15:
Krampus – Max is a kid who adores Christmas, but his holiday cheer is interrupted by his dysfunctional family. The angry kid tears up the letter he wrote to Santa and throws it out of his window. When a serious blizzard pops up, dangerous creatures terrorize the family.
November 21:
Salem (Seasons 1 – 3) – This WGN series is set during the infamous Salem, Massachusetts witch hysteria. Mary Sibley is a powerful witch who controls the Puritans as she puts into place a plot to summon the devil.
Shudder series Guts & Glory, The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans and The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs will also continue in November.
