With October just around the corner, we all suspected the Boulet Brothers would have some kind of Shudder-related project coming up, didn’t we? Well, we were right! Shudder announced today that season two of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans is on its way.

For the second season of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans, fourteen former Dragula competitors will return for another chance at the Titans crown. Battling in the categories of performance, design and makeup, the competitors will have to bring out their best horror, fantasy and sci-fi ideas. Each challenge has to represent Dragula’s pillars of Filth, Horror and Glamour, and the ultimate prize is the coveted title of Queen of the Underworld, the headlining spot on the Titans’ world tour and a $100,000 grand prize.

Of course, the show is hosted by our beloved Boulets, Dracmorda and Swanthula, and of course they have invited a bevy of special guest judges, including several iconic producers of horror.

This season’s guests will include David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil), comic book creator Todd McFarlane, Jennifer Tilly (Chucky), Kate Siegel (The Haunting of Hill House), Bonnie Aarons (The Nun), Don Mancini (Child’s Play), Akela Cooper (writer of M3GAN and Malignant), underground drag performer Peaches Christ, rock duo Twin Temple, comic book writer Steve Orlando, professional race car drifter Ryan Turek , Chelsea Rebecca (Scream), James A Janisse (Dead Meat) and last season’s winner Victoria Elizabeth Black.

Although the cast for season two has not yet been announced, we should know who is returning very soon (and of course, 1428 Elm will cover that news as well).

Season two of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans will premiere on Tuesday, October 7

The series will be available to watch on both Shudder and AMC+. The press release promises that season two “will take the show to depths and heights it has yet to explore, blending high-concept drag artistry with outrageous physical challenges that force competitors to confront their deepest fears.”

All of the twists and turns, along with those killer exterminations will be intact. The Boulets said their goal was to not make season two just like the first season. Instead, they chose to pack the episodes with “shocking twists, jaw-dropping artistry, and real emotion.”

The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans season two is the first of three projects that will be included with the Boulets new deal with AMC Networks, and is part of Shudder’s 10-year anniversary celebration. Shudder 10 is being celebrated via more new original films than ever, fan events, special merchandise, a nationwide screening series and much more.
