Skinamarink director Kyle Edward Ball teams with A24 for horror film The Land of Nod
Did you enjoy watching the experimental horror film Skinamarink? If so, you'll be glad to know that the writer-director behind that movie has set his next horror project. It's called The Land of Nod, and we're about to share everything that is known about it so far.
Kyle Edward Ball, who wrote the script and helmed Skinamarink, is signed on to write and direct The Land of Nod. This will be the second horror feature he's ever directed. Besides his directorial work on Skinamarink, Ball has only directed a short horror film titled Heck and a music video.
For this new horror flick, he will be joining forces with the well-known entertainment company, A24, to make it. A24 will be releasing it globally once it's ready for viewing. Unfortunately, no plot details have been revealed yet. However, we have high hopes that this movie will have an interesting plot with Ball writing the screenplay.
Ronald Bronstein, Eli Bush, and Josh Safdie will produce this film via their Central Pictures production company. Other producers include Lawrence Inglee, Daniel Noah, Elijah Wood, Tatiana Bears, and Bruno Vernaschi Berman. In addition, Theo Vieljeux is signed on as an executive producer.
Sadly, nothing else was revealed about The Land of Nod at the moment. Of course, you can count on us to share new information as it is released. But for now, we recommend watching or rewatching Skinamarink on Hulu, Shudder, or AMC+. It's also available to rent or purchase on digital platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, Fandango at Home, etc.
