November 6 has become the official "Stranger Things Day" since that is the day, in-universe, when Will Byers went missing in 1983 and the entire journey truly started. In real life, Stranger Things premiered in July 2016 and will wrap up its story almost 10 years later, with a confirmed 2025 release date.

As part of this year's Stranger Things Day, Netflix shared a new title credits teaser showcasing all eight episode titles for the final season.

Stranger Things season 5 episode titles

  • Episode 1, "The Crawl"
  • Episode 2, "The Vanishing of *****"
  • Episode 3, "The Turnbow Trap"
  • Episode 4, "Sorcerer"
  • Episode 5, "Shock Jock"
  • Episode 6, "Escape from Camazotz"
  • Episode 7, "The Bridge"
  • Episode 8, "The Rightside Up"

Several titles had been leaked previously, and it looks like the leaks were correct, which means we might have an additional hint about the second episode. Netflix blurred out part of the title, but many people have surmised that it might actually be "The Vanishing of Karen Wheeler."

Mother of Nancy and Mike Wheeler, Karen is believed to have a much more significant role in the upcoming season, with the most prominent fan theory being that she is Vecna/Henry Creel's sister, Alice Creel. If the title does indeed refer to Karen, it could mean Vecna has abducted her. Of course, this is all speculation, and all Netflix reveals is "The Vanishing Of..." with the latter half redacted. It could mean anything.

In the world of Stranger Things and the Upside Down, our story started on November 6, 1983, when Will Byers vanished from Hawkins, Indiana. But despite Will's disappearance, his friends refused to stop looking for him and crossed paths with a gifted girl named Eleven. Slowly, the group uncovered a dark mystery and an entire parallel dimension. Now, here we are, inching closer to the fifth and final season of the hit Netflix show that will see our favorite characters embark on one final adventure.

Even though season 5 is the last confirmed season of the main show, there are still other projects in the works from Netflix and show creators Ross and Matt Duffer. The stage show Stranger Things: The First Shadow will be coming to Boadway in 2025, and an untitled animated spinoff series is also in development.
