SCREAMBOX has announced the horror movies that will be added to their streaming service in February. Included are a Japanese film, horror’s favorite clown and some serial killer documentaries.
Here are some highlights for SCREAMBOX’s February schedule
#Manhole (begins streaming February 25) – This Japanese film stars Yuto Nakajima from the boy band Hey! Say! JUMP as successful and good looking Shunsuke Kawamura. The night before his wedding, he attends a party, and while walking home drunk afterwards, he falls into a manhole.
Injured, he tries to get help by using his phone, and ends up going viral on social media under the hashtag #Manhole. When Variety reviewed #Manhole, they referred to it as “enjoyably ludicrous” (what I refer to as a “WTF film”).
Albert Fish: In Sin He Found Salvation – Followers of true crime are no doubt familiar with the story of serial killer Hamilton Howard “Albert” Fish. Even for those “murderinos” among us, the details of his crimes are hard to take, especially since most of them were committed against children. He was finally captured and prosecuted after he abducted, tortured and killed 10-year-old Gracie Bud, and admitted to roasting and eating part of the child.

Delicate Arch (SCREAMBOX Exclusive, February 11)– Set in the near future, Delicate Arch is about a group of college friends taking a weekend vacation in the desert. The trip isn’t what they had hoped for, as time begins to progress strangely, and the friends begin to wonder if reality has actually been altered.
Insane – This one is described in the SCREAMBOX press release as an homage to Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. A woman named Jenny comes to the hotel where David works as manager, in search of her missing sister Sarah.
Serial Killer Culture – This documentary takes a deep dive into the fascination some people hold for serial killers. What makes them want to collect anything related to killers like Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy and Ted Bundy?
Terrifier 3 (February 14) – Art the Clown is back! After procuring a Santa suit, Art finds new, festive ways to maim and kill, while Sienna is determined to stop him. A new documentary called Art Attack! The Dissection of Terrifier 3 will stream on SCREAMBOX beginning March 13.
If you think all of this sounds great, but you’re not a SCREAMBOX subscriber, you can head on over to screambox.com to subscribe and see more information about what’s available to stream.
