Spoilers ahead for The Bondsman episode 7, "Revelations"

We're back to demon-hunting in the penultimate episode, and, as Hub predicted, the latest abomination is a fiery one. The Hallorans are after a demon known as a Pyralis that uses torrents of fire on its victims. But the darkest part of all of this is that the cold open shows the demon taking possession of a little boy on a playground.

This time, Midge finally gets in on the action, as she's clearly looked through Hub's files and shows up at Kitty's house to assist. According to her, the demons are fulfilling sacrifices to unleash the shackles of a former angel being held down under. If they succeed at getting their fifth sacrifice, it basically means the apocalypse is coming.

They learn that the demon is hiding out in an old housing development. Masquerading as city workers, Hub, Maryanne, Cade, Kitty, and Midge try to evacuate the houses before hunting the demon. But Midge is the one who actually comes face-to-face with the Pyralis, and she can't bring herself to shoot a kid. Her hesitance allows the demon to create the final part of the pentagram with fire and suck the whole house down into Hell, making Midge the final sacrifice.

While all this is happening, Lucky is spending his time in church praying to God for a sign of what to do next. Between him and Tater, they believe that Hub and his ilk are witches or summoning demons or something. Lucky asks for a sign of some sort to show him what to do next, leading him straight to Sheriff Ruby.

He hands over the photos that Tater took from the hardware store showing the sacrifice that was crucified and all the other destruction caused by the demons. That, combined with the other photos the sheriff has, is enough for Ruby to send her men to arrest Hub and his family. As if they don't have enough problems to deal with.

Dealing with Midge's death leads Hub and the others to realize that the apocalypse is imminent. Hub breaks out his guitar so the family can play a final song together in a heartwarming scene. Following that sweet musical reunion, Hub and Maryanne finally rekindle their romance.

A fax from Pot O' Gold wakes Hub in the middle of the night. His next assignment? Lilith herself. And she's taken possession of Cheryl Dawson. Hub realizes it right away when he sees the tracker pointing to the bond shop and when he gets there, the grave is empty.
