ESX Entertainment is the television/movie studio behind The Curse of the Necklace. It's a horror flick directed by Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz (Pumpkinhole, Perry Mason) from a screenplay written by John Ducey (A Hollywood Christmas, That’s Amor).

The story takes place in the '60s and centers around the Davis family. Laura Davis separates from her alcoholic cop husband, Frank, and kicks him out of the house. Now, it's just her and their two daughters, 11-year-old Ellen and 16-year-old Judy, living in the house. In an attempt to win Laura back, Frank gifts Laura an antique necklace he finds in an old evidence bag at the police station, not knowing it's cursed with the tormented soul of an evil boy attached to it.

Sarah Lind (The Exorcism of Molly Hartley) portrays the role of Laura Davis, while Henry Thomas (The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass) plays Frank Davis. Madeleine and Violet McGraw play as Laura's daughters, Judy and Ellen Davis. Madeleine is known for her previous role as Gwen in the supernatural horror flick The Black Phone, while Violet is known for portraying Cady in the sci-fi horror film M3GAN.

The rest of the cast is made up of Felix Solis (Ozark, Unfrosted), Jacob Moran (The Black Phone), Christina Moore (That's Amor, I Believe in Santa), and Brynne Kurland (Holiday in the Vineyards).
