Neon’s horror comedy The Monkey hit theaters back in February, sparking weeks of conversation. While many would agree that the ending didn’t quite deliver, there’s no denying the film packed some of the most gruesome and intense kills, guaranteed to make you squirm in your seat. Now, the horror movie has finally received a digital and physical media release. This is perfect for the people who didn't catch it in theaters or those who want to experience the blood-soaked mayhem again from the comfort of their own home.

So, when exactly is The Monkey hitting digital? We learned via a press release that the horror comedy will arrive on digital platforms on Friday, April 4, 2025. Yes, that's tomorrow! On this date, you'll be able to rent or purchase the film from digital retailers such as Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home, Apple TV+, etc. In fact, you can currently pre-order the movie on these platforms for $24.99 before taxes. On its digital release day, the movie will likely be priced between $19.99 and $29.99 for purchase, with rental options expected to range from $14.99 to $24.99. These are estimated prices based on typical rates for newly released films on digital platforms.

What about the physical media release? Well, this will reportedly take place on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. On this date, you'll be able to buy The Monkey on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Right now, you can pre-order a physical copy of the movie from Amazon, with prices varying depending on what format you choose.

Will The Monkey come to streaming? Most likely! However, the exact date of its streaming debut remains unknown. It’s expected to land on Hulu eventually, following the same path as other Neon horror films. It took forever for the 2024 Neon horror film Longlegs to make its way to Hulu. Hopefully, this doesn't end up happening with The Monkey. Don't worry. We'll let you know when the horror comedy arrives on streaming once it's announced.
