The only person on the show who really got the chance to meet Haley was Andrea. The two of them were stationed together guarding the wall in Woodbury. Haley, much like Daryl, liked to use a bow. Unable to take down a walker with it, Haley watched in shock when Andrea hopped the fence and killed the walker face to face.

Haley seems to be a loyal member of the Woodbury army, though it’s not clear how much of the Governor’s antics she was aware of. She was not present when he killed the national guardsmen, and may not know about Penny or the walker heads. But when she realizes the town is being invaded, she is willing to help defend it.

That ends up coming to a tragic end when the group saves Daryl and Merle from having to fight to the death. Maggie fires at the Woodbury guards to help give the Dixons a chance to break for it, and one of the bullets hits Haley, killing her instantly.
