Bio: Hannah is the very first walker that Rick Grimes had encountered face-to-face after waking up in the zombie apocalypse. Almost torn completely apart before reanimating, Hannah’s mangled corpse was unable to bite Rick, but it didn’t stop her from trying. Rick fled using a nearby bicycle (giving the zombie the nickname “Bicycle Girl”) but later returned to put an end to her suffering.

While Hannah was mostly decayed by the time we see her in the pilot episode, a set of prequel The Walking Dead webisodes explored the character further. It revealed her name, who she was, and how she ultimately ended up dying while trying to protect her children. After getting bitten on the arm by a zombie, Hannah bravely feeds herself to a pack of walkers so that her kids can run away. What happens to them after this remains unknown.
