Discovery Channel has announced a 30th season of Ghost Adventures, which makes its season debut in April. Investigators Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley, Billy Tolley and Zak Bagans will be back to explore more iconic haunted locales and conduct a séance at a very famous and mysterious house.
The two-hour season premiere, Poltergeist House Curse, features Bagans and his team conducting the first-ever investigation of Simi Valley’s Poltergeist House. The iconic 1982 film Poltergeist has long been thought to be “cursed”, and Zak thinks some insight could be gained through a relic from the movie.
Join Zak and the team as they go inside the house used during filming, which is believed to be haunted. Heck, Shudder even produced a series called Cursed Films, which gave a detailed description of the bad/sad events that happened during filming and afterwords.
Later in the season, viewers will be able to watch a séance at the famed Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California. The team will attempt to contact the spirit of Harry Houdini, and the event takes place on the 100th anniversary of his last visit to the house.

Tune in to Discovery Channel on Wednesday, April 16 beginning at 10:00 PM Eastern Time to watch the two-hour premiere. You can also stream the following day on Max and Discovery+ to watch Zak Bagans and his paranormal investigation team use all sorts of interesting gadgets and their own intuition in search of the supernatural. Sometimes it feels as if you are right there, participating in the group’s immersive lockdowns and explorations, and experiencing the often scary excitement with them.
Of the new highly-charged season, Bagans says, “The investigations this season are iconic, highly charged and very personal. Incorporating special guest investigators and new investigative tactics stirred up a frenzy of compelling paranormal activity that we can’t wait to share – including mind-blowing photographic evidence.”
Some other haunted locales that will be investigated in Ghost Adventures’ newest season include the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, California (with guest star Jonathan Davis from Korn joining in on the fun) and Bagans’s own Haunted Museum in Las Vegas. The museum is home to many haunted artifacts, including one from one of the most prolific serial killers in the United States. It’s this particular artifact that Bagans believes is causing most of the recent trouble and paranormal activity in the Haunted Museum.
