2. Fan favorite character Tommy Jarvis is back
Ever since first appearing as a child played by Corey Feldman in Friday the 13th Part 4, Tommy Jarvis became the most popular protagonist the series. A teenage version of the character appears in the sequel, played by John Shepherd. By the time the sixth movie rolled around, Jarvis was back as an adult. Played by Thom Matthews, this version of Tommy is the toughest and probably the favorite iteration of the character, as he takes Jason on head-on.
Big fans of Part 6 will be happy to know that Thom Matthews reprises the role of Tommy Jarvis for this game. His likeness will be used, and Matthews himself did the voice work for Tommy. I, for one, didn’t think I ever would see Tommy Jarvis again, especially played by Thom Matthews. It shows how far they’re willing to go to put in as many great elements from the films as they can.
In the game, counselors can attempt to radio for help, summoning Tommy Jarvis to the scene. Then a previously killed player will get another chance in the game as Tommy. You’ll start the playthrough with him with a shotgun in hand, giving you the chance to take the fight directly to Jason Voorhees.
