He may be gone, but George Romero’s legacy will never die.

According to DVD Active, a legend is overtaking Halloween. After changing the face of horror, George Romero is changing the face of Blu-ray. Coming Oct. 24, Arrow Video is releasing a beautiful set, George Romero: Between Night and Dawn. Encompassing some of Romero’s best work, the set includes almost all films he made between Night of the Living Dead (1968) and Dawn of the Dead (1979). Sadly, Martin is not included.

Just look at her…isn’t she marvelous.

As the world mourns the icon, it’s great we’re getting a new Romero set. While it’s sad the massively underrated Martin isn’t being included, the set looks amazing. Even the title has me all giddy inside. I love the man’s work and will be mourning him for years to come.

Also, note that the set is Region 2 locked. Fans outside of the UK need to have a “region free” player to run the discs. But come on, you already have one right? George Romero: Between Night and Dawn debuts Oct. 24.
