In the final showdown Chucky is attempting to transfer his soul to the now knocked out Tyler, Andy swings into action shooting Chucky in the arm severing it. Not deterred by the missing appendage Chucky continues the ritual but a gunshot to the chest makes him fall. Chucky climbs back up and struggle between Andy and Chucky ensues with Andy the victor by stabbing and throwing Chucky into a giant fan.

With Chucky’s reign of terror over the film ends with Andy being questioned by the police and DeSilva being taken to the hospital for injuries she suffered. Child’s Play 3 is probably my second favorite of the franchise after the original. With an interesting concept Child’s Play 3 plays out fast, loud and gory.

While panned by most critics it now holds an 87% approval rating from Google users. With a budget of $13 million, Child’s Play 3 went on to make $20.5 million at the box office. After the success of Child’s Play 3 the series continues with Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky and the new Cult of Chucky.

So my friends next time you want to meld military discipline with serial killer dolls this film is the right fit. While doing a little pre-writing research for this film I came upon an article by Screen Rant that has several concept pieces for posters for Child’s Play 3. If you get the chance, check them out!
