1428 Elm: Do you have anything in the works now? I know you are in the midst of a book tour but do you have any ideas you might like to write about next?
BC: I have developed about ten screenplays since I knew Burn Notice was going to end a few years ago. So, I am waiting for Ash vs Evil Dead to run its course and then I will have a proper amount of time to further develop those and then start doing them.
That’s something I am going to focus on after Ash vs. Evil Dead. It’s a series of homegrown things that I have been working on.

1428 Elm: Do you have a project that you feel you can take to market once ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ is over?

BC: There is a movie right now, that’s just sitting there done called Highly Functional. It’s waiting with no suitor and it’s driving me insane because it’s a nice little movie. Completely different from pretty much anything I have done.
1428 Elm: I want to see that in particular…
BC: So, do I!
1428 Elm: No doubt! I know you tried to learn chord progressions on the guitar for the movie. Was that difficult for you?
BC: Yeah, I couldn’t get it. Thankfully, I don’t do a whole lot of it in the movie. It’s enough to fake it. It’s weird because I didn’t become one of those sandal wearing cross legged guys on location. It just didn’t work.
1428 Elm: Did you do your own singing?
BC: Yeah, I did that. I faked that. They can help you with wonderful technology today. That worked out fine. I told them they could replace me and get some guy that’s good but they kept it.
1428 Elm: Do you enjoy singing? I know that is a weird question to ask but you have done it on the Old Spice commercials.
BC: That would be something nice to master but it’s not in my wheelhouse yet. It’s always fun to dink around with new stuff.
1428 Elm: Do you have a go to karaoke song?
BC: There are a couple of Elvis songs that I’ve mastered.
