Turner Classic Movies has released its glorious theatrical selection for the upcoming Halloween season! Behold, the TCM October 2017 movie schedule!

TCM has become our saving grace as Halloween movie viewing just got a whole lot better.

This past week, annual Halloween viewing schedules have been trickling in from Freeform, and a glimpse at what to expect from AMC’s Fearfest this year. With the exception of the televised premiere of the highly anticipated Cult of Chucky film, Fearfest is leaving much to be desired as the yearly smorgasbord of horror filled fun only lasts for a mere week this time around amidst 99 episodes of the AMC hit The Walking Dead.

Yeah, guys. I can’t wrap my head around that either.

Well, as bleak and disappointing as that prior news may seem, TCM is coming to our rescue with their annual seasonal tradition of playing classic horror movies ALL OCTOBER LONG. While the station that showcases such films as the beloved Universal Monsters series and Hammer films may not be playing every single day this October 2017, the line-up this year that spotlights Dracula as Monster of the Month serves a healthy dose of Transylvania tales along with such greats from Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, and the late-great Tobe Hooper.
