With Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3 now coming in February, Dana DeLorenzo is talking Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and how she went cowabunga.

Ash vs Evil Dead fans…you haven’t seen anything yet.

Recently, we sat down with one of horror’s most badass and beautiful women. Inviting Ash vs Evil Dead’s Dana DeLorenzo back to 1428 Elm, the Deadite slayer got into everything from growing as an actor to killing the undead. If you haven’t read any of our interviews  with the emerging performer, grab a chainsaw and check out our first and second conversations.

While speaking, we eventually landed on the DeLorenzo’s future and how she became involved with the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. Guys this is freaking incredible — there’s a reason we saved this for its own article.

Here’s what DeLorenzo, who plays Kelly Maxwell on the “Evil Dead” series, says about joining the TMNT series:

"“I saw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live in concert, you heard me, I saw TMNT live in concert and I bum rushed the stage to grab Donatello. And I grabbed his leg, like a groupie at ten years old. So to be able to step foot onto Nickelodeon and voice a character they ended up making, they drew in my likeness, was insane”"

The 34-year old actor, who’s a modern role model for women everywhere, goes on to say:

"“It was one of the biggest, and wonderful, full-circle moments of my life. Just like I am with Ash vs Evil Dead, I still have to pinch myself that I’m a part of it. It was the same thing as the turtles. And I’m sitting next to Rudy. Sitting next to Sean Astin. I’m being told the episode is coming out around Halloween”"

Freaking love this woman, she’s perfect….did I just say that out loud..well I guess I typed it out loud.

As we await her return in Ash vs Evil Dead, it’s great DeLorenzo is staying busy with one of the greatest properties of all time. I’m looking forward to seeing the series, and specifically, DeLoreno’s episode, The Crypt of Dracula. I looked into it and apparently the episode came at us on Sept. 27, so that was just last week…I must see this.

So, are you enjoying all the work Dana DeLorenzo is doing to entertain us? Visit her on Twitter at ImDanaDeLorenzo and tell the actor how awesome she is. If we make enough noise, she may get even more work.
