Ash vs Evil Dead: The Brujo is strong with Pablo in Season 3!
Yesterday, Ash vs Evil Dead tweeted out an image of Pablo performing a “gorious” ritual. At 1428 Elm, we look at why the Brujo is strong with Ray Santiago in Season 3.
Evil Sees Pablo Differently
Yesterday, Ash vs Evil Dead at STARZ tweeted out an image of Ray Santiago’s character, Pablo, getting his Brujo on. It looks like our sweet Value Stop employee is performing some serious juju in a goretastic ritual. Armed with the Kandarian dagger, in the middle of the woods (near the God forsaken cabin perhaps) he’s in the midst of a chaotic, blood spurting episode.
In the summer, when I spoke to Ray he had some interesting tidbits on what happens with Pablo in Season 3. Bruce Campbell had admitted in an interview that his sidekick was becoming Shamanistic.

Santiago had this to say, “I think that Pablo sees things very differently and I think the evil force also sees Pablo very differently. He’s finally coming into his own and understanding how to be the hero he never thought he could be.”
Fans of the show know that Pablo has had some bonding time with the “Book of the Dead.” According to Ray, “He has an undeniable relationship with the Necronomicon that will always be there.”
Apparently in 2018, “We’re going to see him be continuously tortured and still have an internal struggle with everything that is happening.”
Epic Notions
The first stills from New York Comic Con this year featured several epic scenarios. One image in particular had Ash with his daughter Brandy (Arielle Carver-O’Neill), Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Pablo in what appears to be a battle of some sort. In the back ground we can see tanks!
However, more recent photos from the show were of Ash in his Elk Grove business. He has taken over his deceased father Brock’s store renaming it Ashy Slashy’s Hardware Store and Sex Toy Emporium.

Pablito’s picture also raises some questions. What is he conjuring up? Is he summoning good forces or bad? Why does evil see him differently?
