After what happened in Curse of Chucky, Nica Pierce is sent to live in the looney bin. Unfortunately, Chucky isn’t through with her yet, infiltrating the asylum to finish what he started. And this quest for revenge doesn’t end there. With Tiffany’s help, Chucky is also looking to finally get revenge on an adult Andy Barclay. Both Nica and Andy have dealt with Chucky’s evil before, but it’s not long before they realize that this time, they’ve really got their hands full!
Cult of Chucky did not have a theatrical release, heading straight to home video and Netflix. Its official poster seems to be more designed with the home release in mind. The image of Chucky adorning a deranged smile is one of the freakiest of the little guy yet. Nica laying helplessly in the background certainly adds a creepy touch. It remains to be seen if there will ever be another Child’s Play movie. If not, this would make for a satisfying final poster.
