Happy Friday the 13th everybody! Let’s celebrate this “definitely a holiday” day with a new game that you can take with you to work to get you through.

Today marks the release of the new, adorable puzzle game from Blue Wizard Digital called Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle. This is a licensed Friday the 13th game, guys, so you can ki-ki-ki ma-ma-ma to your heart’s content. These are the same creators that brought you the puzzle game Slayaway Camp.

While Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle has been available for iOs users since January 20th, today’s release will include availability for Android and on Steam, so your PC can get in on the action. This fun little puzzle game follows Jason Voorhees as he chases unfortunate campers, killing them in various ways. You are guided by the decapitated head of Pamela Voorhees that encourages her son and gives him hints and tips throughout the game.

With every kill you do, you can level up with your bloodlust. By doing so, you unlock new weapons aside from Jason’s machete, like a crowbar, shield or even a fish. There are dozens of weapons to unlock as you go or you can buy a weapons pack to skip ahead. Not only do you unlock weapons but you unlock places. Once you make your way through the camp, you unlock other levels like prison, the snowy slopes, Manhattan, the beach, the apocalypse or space! All of these unlock as your body count rises.

Once you unlock a location, you unlock that special Jason and can use him in any level. There is also the gore option. You can have it set on R and keep in the blood, gore and copious decapitations OR set it to PG and nix the blood, having all the kills end in a poof of bones. You even get a final girl at the end of the level that you have the opportunity to either kill or miss entirely, effecting your bloodlust.

This game is truly adorable. The animation is great and the fan service is there. There is even a button in settings to just hear the “Ki ki ki ma ma ma.” If you hit it a lot, it sounds like the remix. There’s a murder marathon game setting with a soundtrack so good, you may just want to play for the music. The game itself is free but there are in app purchases if you want additional content, weapons or locations but even without purchasing the additional stuff, Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is cute, challenging at times and just a great way to KILL some time.
