Friday the 13th: The Game is bringing weapon swapping….just get ready to spend a lot of time gaining it.
According to GameRant, you’re in for the long haul with virtual Jason Voorhees. With everyone looking forward to swapping weapons in Friday the 13th: The Game, you’d think Gun Media would make it easy to appease fans. Well, not so fast.
In a recent Tweet, the company is revealing the level it’ll take to exchange weapons as Jason and it’s a whopping 113. You read that right, you’ll have to reach level 113 if you’re looking to accessorize your favorite Jason.
Jason Weapon Selection is a level 113 unlock. Jason Strengths & Weaknesses are tied to Jason and not to weapons.

I mean it’s cool….but is it really worth it?
I’ll be honest, at first I though this was a joke. Upon reading, I dashed to check the date making sure it’s not somehow Apr. 1. But no, this is reality. You’ll have to play the game a lot if you want to enjoy the feature. My only guess is the company thinks using 13 in 113 is a fun way to honor the franchise. I also suspect them thinking people really don’t care all that much. That they’ll eventually get to the level in the natural course of playing.
The problem is some don’t have a lot of time to play. In no way knocking those who play for hours, but some Friday the 13th junkies don’t play the game daily. So them reaching level 113 isn’t likely. Then again, we could not even have the opportunity. Just be happy it’s even a real thing — that goes for the whole game too.
Friday the 13th: The Game is now available on PS4, Xbox One and Steam.
