Horror on Netflix: June 2018 additions

It’s a new month, so what new horror and thriller movie titles are joining the new releases on Netflix? We have the complete list of new additions.
Each month, it becomes more and more apparent that Netflix isn’t the best place to go for the biggest horror fans. While the odd gem can be found here and there on the service, they just don’t seem to have the selection that they used to. June 2018 does bring in some new titles to add to the mix, albeit not very many. Fortunately, the material that is coming does look to be pretty good.
I’ve always meant to catch The Boy but never managed to give it a watch. Now that it’s on Netflix, that’s going to be an immediate viewing for tonight. Starring Lauren Cohan (who’s set to leave The Walking Dead during the next season), the film looks unique and entertaining, though the reviews I’ve heard have been pretty mixed. Us and Them also looks to be a rather interesting new film, which I’ll be checking out on the 22nd. Having said this, let’s move on to take a look at all of the new horror and thriller movies coming to Netflix this month, courtesy of Variety.
AVAILABLE JUNE 1
The Boy
"A young American named Greta (Lauren Cohan) takes a job as a nanny for an 8-year-old boy in a remote English village. To her surprise, Greta learns that the child of her new employers is a life-size doll. They care for the doll as if it was human, which helps the couple to cope with the death of their own son 20 years earlier. When Greta violates a list of strict rules, a series of disturbing and inexplicable events bring her worst fears to life, leading her to believe that the doll is alive."
The Covenant
"Four young men who belong to a New England supernatural legacy are forced to battle a fifth power long thought to have died out. Meanwhile, jealousy and suspicion threaten to tear them apart."
