Halloween on TV looks at what will be airing on Halloween night (and day). The first look is at Vincent Price movies.

While Halloween may be more than 40 days away, it’s never too early to think about it. It’s a holiday is a favorite to many and a favorite of mine. So if you’re a fan of Halloween and love watching Halloween programming, you’ll want to make sure to stick around with Halloween on TV.

The first Halloween on TV column goes to what TCM will be airing on their primetime schedule. The classic movie channel is airing a night of Vincent Price movies. Vincent Price is one of the greatest horror actors out there. Price is one of my personal favorites too, so it’s a treat to write about him.

More from Horror Legends

So here’s what the schedule looks like:

House of Wax (1953)-8 p.m. EST

House of Wax kicks off the Vincent Price marathon. The 3-D 50s movie has Price star as a scarred sculptor who murders people to use as his wax figures. Andre de Toth directed House of Wax.

Pit and the Pendulum (1961)-9:45 p.m. EST

Roger Corman and Price teamed up for several Edgar Allan Poe adaptations. Pit and the Pendulum also starred another horror legend, Barbara Steele. The premise of the movie is about a young Englishman that goes to Spain to investigate the death of his sister at his brother-in-law’s (played by Price) castle.

The Masque of Red Death (1964)-11:15 p.m. EST

The Red Masque of Death is another Corman and Price Poe movie. This ’60s horror film has Price play sadistic Prince Prospero.

House on Haunted Hill (1958)-1 a.m. EST

Moving away from Corman to William Castle. House on Haunted Hill is one of my favorite Vincent Price movies. It’s campy but fun! Price is a millionaire who decides to pay a large sum of money to anyone that will stay in his haunted house. The Tingler is another movie that Price and Castle collaborated on.

Theater of Blood (1973)-2:30 a.m. EST

Theater of Blood is a warning to all the critics out there! Price plays a Shakespearean actor that fakes his own death to get revenge on those who panned his work. He kills them each by how

The Last Man on Earth (1964)-4:30 a.m. EST

For those who are still awake get a chance to watch another cult classic with The Last Man on Earth. The film is based on Richard Matheson’s novel “I Am Legend.”

So that’s the schedule for TCM on Halloween night. For those who have never seen a Vincent Price movie, I advise them to keep this TV schedule in mind. TCM has picked a nice selection.
