Ghost releases Chapter 5: The Call

Ghost is at it again! Chapter 5: The Call is out so let’s see what Papa Nihil and Sister Imperator are up to now.

Ghost Gods of Drama

Ghost  and Tobias Forge knew exactly what we needed at the end of a long and difficult work day. And by that I mean that Ghost has released Chapter 5: The Call in their series of amazing storytelling videos.

The band doesn’t just release news in any old way; they have established themselves as masters of announcements in the most dramatic way possible. It has endeared them to the fans even more than before and the announcement of a video always means good news, except if you’re Sister Imperator.

666 days of Satan…I wouldn’t miss a day.

Can someone just make a damn sitcom with these two? They are absolutely adorable and I could watch them all day. Just seeing them BS about The Omen movies was hilarious dialogue.

And don’t think we didn’t notice the innuendos with what they were saying. The Omens 1-3 were good but with 4 and a different direction, you have to rebuild.

Seems a lot like what the band is doing now with Cardinal Copia and the change in their usual sound. We even get a little break in the fourth wall from Papa Nihil. It’s good to see Sister Imperator doing well.

And can we talk about the “What are you wearing” scene? I have come to know that I will forever be surprised by a Ghost video, but seeing Papa Nihil talking on a rotary phone in the toilet with his Papa robes pulled up has caught me by surprise.

It would seem the only thing we can ever expect from the Ghost Chapter videos is the unexpected. So, what was the purpose to this video? Ghost has announced their 2019 European stadium tour.
