We love music here at 1428 Elm and we love our music with special flair and qualities. Enter the band Twin Temple.

You may recall when we reviewed their debut album Twin Temple (Bring You Their Signature Sound…Satanic Doo-Wop). We gave it a rave review as it brings together sexy and saucy sounds with a Satanic spin. The more you listen, the more you love it and you can’t help but move and sing. It would seem that it isn’t just me because Twin Temple has been signed to a music company and they are going on tour.

They recently announced on their social media accounts that they were recently signed to Rise Above Records. Rise Above Records was founded by Lee Dorrian and houses other artists like Blood Ceremony, Church of Misery and Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats. Also announced by Twin Temple is their collaborative tour with Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats and Graveyard in the month of March in 2019 (excuse me as I cry because they aren’t coming to my city) and they put on one hell of a show/ritual.

Between their tour, their being signed and their collaboration with Vinyl Cosmetics on their gorgeous red lipstick called Lucifer (My Love) after their song, the ball for Twin Temple is rolling and rolling fast. Because they were picked up by Rise Above Records, they plan to release another version of their debut album with new variants. They do a lot for their fans as well. They do many special sales with signed product as well as donating some of their proceeds to various charities, such as support for the trans community.

If you haven’t heard their debut album yet, I cannot recommend it enough. You can listen to it on their Youtube page or you can go to their website and get a copy of your own, sometimes for a great cause. They promote feminism, sexual positivity and owning your body and your life by believing in yourself. The more you listen to the music, your favorite song may change from day to day.

When I first listened to their album, “Wicked” was my absolute favorite but after listening for several months, “Let’s Hang Together” might be one of my favorite songs of anything, ever. It’s catchy and a hell of a lot of fun to sing in the car. A huge congrats to Twin Temple for being signed and we can’t wait to see what’s yet to come.
