Chicago Flashback Weekend is bringing back a fan favorite. Cerina Vincent will be a part of the con when it takes over the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, IL Aug. 2 – 4.

Per a post on their FaceBook group, Chicago Flashback Weekend has added Cerina Vincent to their 2019 line-up.

For horror fans, Cerina Vincent is best known for her role as Marcy in Eli Roth’s 2002 directorial debut, Cabin Fever. The film subtly combined elements of Evil Dead, The Hills Have Eyes, Friday the 13th, and George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead into an original horror comedy.

The plot revolved around a group of kids who came to party at a remote cabin. Sounds like fun. It was fun until the whole flesh eating virus, accidental hermit shootings, and ravenous dog attack stuff started.

Cerina Vincent had one of the goriest death scenes in the movie. After she learned that you shouldn’t shave your legs when you have a flesh eating virus, she was chased by Dr. Mambo, a dog that sees red like Darth Vader, the Predator, and the Kandarian Demon from the Evil Dead. Poor Rider Strong finds pieces of Marcy after the carnage happens. Boy, meet world.

Vincent has also had roles in Not Another Teen Movie, Return to House on Haunted Hill, and Everybody Wants to be Italian. And, for 45 episodes, Cerina Vincent played the role of Maya, aka the Yellow Galaxy Ranger, on Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy.

Chicago is looking like the place to be for horror fans in early August.
