Ash vs Evil Dead recently was incorporated into Dead by Daylight with Bruce Campbell voicing his iconic character. While some fans are annoyed with Ash Williams not having his trademark boomstick or chainsaw, we want to remind them that another game is on the horizon…

Virtual Reality Is Coming

Ash vs Evil Dead has been off the air for almost a year. However, the appetite for Ash Williams and the Ghostbeaters has not abated. Even though Bruce Campbell recently voiced his alter ego for the Dead by Daylight game which will be released on April 2, some fans were not thrilled.

There were complaints that because Ash wasn’t given his boomstick or his chainsaw that he would be an easy kill. One fan even went as far as to call the actor out on Twitter by saying that he has “always been about the money and doesn’t care about his image.” As with anything, there will be those who are supportive and those who aren’t.

Well, Dead by Daylight isn’t the only effort that will benefit from Campbell’s involvement. Back in October, when we interviewed Ray Santiago, he told us about the upcoming virtual reality immersion game. This is what he had to say:

"“I know we are all involved. Pablo’s hair and mustache are definitely going to be on point because I had to approve it. I sat in a room with these creators in I think they were in Sweden and we talked about it for a very long time. I don’t know exactly what the script will be. It will be very similar to things that you have seen on the show.”"

Bruce also chatted about this earlier in August. When he admitted that he would be taking part in “a whole immersive kind of dealio,” in an exclusive interview with Bloody Disgusting.

So, what is this virtual reality game going to look like? What will the storyline be? Here is our wish list for the upcoming Ash vs Evil Dead production featuring Bruce Campbell, Dana DeLorenzo, Ray Santiago and Arielle Carver-O’Neill.

The Wish List

At the end of Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3, Ash begins his journey into the post-Apocalyptic future with his sexy cyborg sidekick, Lexx. The Dark Ones are on the move and Williams wants to find his daughter.

Using this as a springboard, let’s move into what we want to see in this virtual reality immersion world. Obviously, we are not developers so what we will do is give you what we would like to see as the basic storyline.
