Bruce Campbell: Another Mortal Kombat 11 Ash Williams DLC leak
Bruce Campbell, in our recent interview with him, hinted that Ash Williams may show up in Mortal Kombat 11 in a cameo. Now, it looks as if there was another DLC leak and this might be happening.
Bruce Campbell chatted with us two weeks ago to promote his latest show, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! During the course of our conversation, Mortal Kombat 11 was brought up and the actor had some interesting revelations.
Apparently, at the time that he tweeted his “finishing move” stating that Ash Williams would not be appearing in Mortal Kombat 11, that was the truth. However, shortly thereafter, he claimed that the phone rang and a discussion between several parties had occurred.
So, once the trailer dropped for the official MK11 pack, Campbell issued a tweet stating, “Boy, looks like a swell game – I’ll have to check it out.” Then speculations started running rampant on the internet once more. Now, Bruce was quick to let us know that if the Evil Dead character does appear, it will only be a cameo. Fans will not be getting full on Ash.
Before disappointment sets in, this is the reason why:
"“The big Evil Dead game is coming. The official game where it will be all Ash, all the time. I’ll be voicing that and I’ll be heavily involved in it. We’re teasing it right now. Everything you’re seeing now is a prep for reintroducing him into the gaming world.”"
Basically, if Ash does appear in MK11 it will be just like Dead by Daylight where he isn’t a central character. This is to let fans get reacquainted with him in the gaming world because let’s face it, Evil Dead has been off the scene. The last game was Evil Dead: Regeneration and that was released 14 years ago!

Which brings us full circle to this bit of news. Yesterday, it was reported by Comic Book and Dynasty on You Tube that another DLC leak occurred. This time however, it was confirmed via Google.
When you typed in “Mortal Kombat Ash Williams,” you were immediately given information for the website with the following verbiage:
“Mortal Kombat 11-Announcing NEW MK 11 DLC Game – Revealing Ash Williams”

Unfortunately, I tried to see if I could duplicate the results on several different browsers and no luck. It would seem as if the leak were pulled again. From what Dynasty’s video states, clicking on the result drove you to MK11’s site but no DLC info was revealed.

Comic Book feels that since an ad was already created, this might suggest that Ash will be revealed shortly. What we know is NetherRealm Studios is being tightlipped for now. Stay tuned because this story is only going to get better.
