Bruce Campbell explores the unexplained on Ripley’s Believe It or Notcast
Bruce Campbell, the current host of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! joins the Notcast to talk about his personal X-File, what’s in the famous warehouse and he even plays a little “Or Not” trivia with Brent Donaldson and Ryan Clark.
Bruce Campbell is the current face of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! on Travel Channel. Let’s just say during his 40 years in the entertainment industry he has seen and done some pretty strange things. However, on the latest Notcast, the King of B-movies reveals his personal X-File and it is out of this world.
Fans of the actor know that he makes his home in the beautiful mountains of Southern Oregon. Pristine and secluded you would think that not much goes on in the woods. Well, Campbell tells a different tale.
Apparently, he once witnessed a UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) otherwise known as a UFO! His recounting of the light hovering over the horizon will keep you awake at night and make you think twice!
The Ripley’s brand is associated with the extraordinary and unusual so it just makes sense that they would have chosen Bruce to be their new host. As the actor explains, he grew up with Ripley’s and he was a fan of the Jack Palance version in the 80’s and Dean Cain’s take in the 90’s.

"“I am part of the tone that we had to take. So, we try to maintain respect for our subjects at all times. That is important. “"
But what everyone wants to know is what’s in the warehouse? According to Bruce, Ripley’s is one of the top collectors in the world and being in that space is akin to the last scene in Indiana Jones.
One of the highlights of this episode of Ripley’s Believe It or Notcast is Bruce playing “Or Not” trivia. Now, in real life, the host is very well versed in entertainment minutiae. He reads celebrity biographies and filmmaking books in his downtime.
Plus, he has also been on Collider’s trivia extravaganza, Celebrity Schmoedown on numerous occasions. Without giving anything away, the results of this game are hilarious!
Brent and Ryan get the actor to discuss the current state of his friendship with Sam Raimi and his connection to the Coen Brothers along with Crimewave. They even ask Bruce about his creepiest fan encounter with poetry…you have to hear it to believe it.
