Zombieland: Double Tap premier makes us wish for October

After ten years, we are finally getting to see the Zombieland sequel, Double Tap. A new trailer was released and we are looking forward to October.

I remember when Zombieland was on the cover of Fangoria. The cover was so bloody and gory and gross that I had to have it. I hoped the movie would be good and I was not disappointed.

It was gross, sad, and hilarious. We have been waiting ten years… TEN YEARS…for a sequel and I will admit that I got nervous when it was announced. Would Zombieland be the same with a different cast? Never fear because Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita and Little Rock are back, baby, and looking better than ever in the new trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap.

It makes me feel super uncomfortable to watch the trailer and realize that literally no one except Abigail Breslin looked like they aged and that’s only because she was a child in the first movie. Not only are our favorites back but there are some new faces and that only makes sense.

Ten years later, they couldn’t be the only people left in the world. It does make me wonder how much time has actually passed in the film. It looks like they are on the move again and dealing with zombies that have evolved over time.

We are set to see Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin. Also, I have a question. If you were to look at the IMDB page, there is a name that makes me really wonder: Bill Murray. What in the world is he doing in a sequel when he was very dead and very buried in the first film.

We also see Dan Aykroyd, Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch and maybe even Luke Wilson in the film. But man, Bill Murray, how is that going to go down?

The trailer looks amazing and only makes us more excited to see Zombieland: Double Tap. Could the movie still suck? I suppose but I don’t think it is going to and for those of us that loved the original so much, I think we will just be so excited to see their familiar faces alive and well in the movie that we won’t notice some flaws.
