9. Evil

  • Starring: Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Michael Emerson, Aasif Mandvi, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, and Maddy Crocco
  • Premiering: September 26 on CBS

Evil is a new CBS series created by Robert and Michelle King, the prodigious writers behind other CBS successes like The Good Wife and The Good Fight. The series will follow the mysterious cross-section between religion and science. But don’t expect it to be a monster-of-the-week show.

The Kings recently discussed their decision to try and avoid Evil becoming an “exorcism of the week” series. It will follow a female clinical psychologist who partners up with a priest-in-waiting to investigate different cases where it’s unclear whether the cause is scientific, or something more insidious.
