Rob Zombie is rockin’ it as a Funko Pop! figure
Filmmaker, musician, horror icon – it’s time for Rob Zombie to be immortalized Funko Pop! style.

Funko Pop’s vinyl figures have become widely popular. They have slowly but surely taken over pop culture, turning some of the most beloved TV, movie, and music characters into collectible figures.
But did you know that Rob Zombie hasn’t gotten his own Funko Pop figure yet? A bit weird if we take into account that he is a filmmaker and a musician – two categories that have become very popular when it comes to these toys.
Filmmakers turned into Funko Pops are relatively new, with Paul Feig, James Gunn, and Guillermo del Toro getting theirs, and lately the company has been producing a ton of figures based on musicians and bands from all genres and styles. So, if you have been waiting for a Rob Zombie figure to add to your collection, you are in luck!

Zombie himself shared the news on his Instagram account with a pic of his Funko Pop! figure. The toy has Zombie’s on-stage, almost theatrical look, instead of his off-stage, relaxed look, like the one seen in Eli Roth’s History of Horror. It’s Zombie the rockstar, not the filmmaker. There’s no release date for this figure, but it will surely be out before Halloween (or so I hope).
Funko’s announcement of this particular figure is no coincidence, as Zombie’s latest movie 3 From Hell will screen next month in select theaters, so there’s some hype around him – the perfect time to tell the world about Funko Zombie, which will join Captain Spaulding’s Pop figure. The “Rob Zombie universe” collection is only getting started.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Funko releases figures of the rest of the Firefly family members, whether 3 From Hell is a hit or not, as they have already taken the first steps by releasing Spaulding and Zombie figures. And because it’s the final installment in the trilogy so, you know, it’s only fitting.

There’s no release date for Rob Zombie’s Funko Pop! vinyl figure yet but if you want to get your hands on one, you have more than enough time to save and make room for it, in case you already have a collection.
