Jason Voorhees, the boogeyman of the Friday the 13th franchise is the stuff that nightmares are made of. If you have watched the movies and thought, I could be the last one standing, now you could get your chance.

Jason Voorhees resides comfortably in the slasher pantheon along with Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger. Friday the 13th is that classic horror franchise that is still scaring people 39 years later.

If you are a fan of the movie series then you more than likely have thought that you have what it takes to best that machete wielding menace in a hockey mask. Of course, you wouldn’t make the same mistakes that half of those unfortunate teenagers made that led to their untimely demises, right?

Well, now, you might get the chance to see if you could get through a night being chased by Jason in a live action survival game. Yes, you heard that correctly. If you live in Arizona, or if you would like to become a “snowbird” by escaping the harsh winter months in a sunnier climate, then you are in luck.

On Pins and Needles hosts a bunch of horror themed events every year in the Grand Canyon State. According to Narcity, you and your friends could take on the Camp Crystal Lake killer on several nights. This F13: Survive Jason game isn’t for kids. You will have to be 18 and older to play.

The next opportunity to face Jason Voorhees is on Sept. 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Sycamore Cabin which is located in Cordes Lakes, AZ. All things considered; the pricing is pretty reasonable as well. Only $25 per person will get you into the event.

Unfortunately, only Sept. 28 and Oct. 19 have tickets available. If you are interested, you better secure your place. There is a pre-campfire cookout prior to the beginning of the festivities. Once the game starts you will get one weapon at a time to help you combat Voorhees.

If you are crafty, you might even be able to survive into overtime! The Oct. 19 event is being held at Turney Gulch Campground in Black Canyon City, AZ. For directions and ticket information, click on this link.
